About:The annual Big Smoke Winter Literary Cafe takes place on Sunday 6th of December from 3pm-6pm in Arthur’s Pub on Thomas Street. It’s the highlight of our social calendar and an opportunity for friends, students and teachers to come together, experience some wonderful music, prose & poetry and celebrate the season. The evening will be a mixture of readings from established writers as well as our own students & teachers. The event is completely free and open to anyone & everyone who wishes to attend. Poetry Ireland Table Quiz 2015 with Kevin Barry & Marian Richardson

FRESH Poetry Slam

About: Fresh is a poetry slam competition with live spoken word and is hosted by Aidan Murphy and Edel Doran. There is an open sign-up for poets with twelve getting to compete. Prizes are issued to five poets as a percentage of door takings.

Mountains to Sea – dlr Book Festival 2016
