Many people have an idea for a book and a desire to write one, but few have an idea of the practical steps they need to take to make their project possible. This 8-week workshop with award-winning author and teacher Dave Lordan will cover crucial book-writing issues such as refining your book idea, synopses and chapter-mapping, maintaining long term motivation and discipline, drafting and editing, and options for publication in today’s world. Suitable for prospective authors of any kind of book, this hands-on workshop full of useful tips and advice might be just the push you need to get going – and keep going – on your book idea.
Participants of previous Writing A Book workshops are very welcome to take this workshop again and use it to keep developing and building their book-length project.
