“Writing is like wrestling a greased pig in the dark.” – Margaret Atwood
There you have it….
This is a writing workshop which is fast-paced, challenging, productive and highly interactive. Classes will focus on detailed, constructive criticism and feedback of work in progress. The aim is to help uncover the elements in your writing that make it truly unique. Through writing exercises and discussion participants are encouraged to examine and develop their own creative practice.
This course is designed for writers with experience, and who have ideally taken our Intermediate Creative Writing class and are familiar with workshopping (i.e. are prepared to give and receive constructive criticism of works-in-progress). It is suitable for writers working in all forms: poetry, short fiction, novels, memoir, drama, etc.
